In response to continuing concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic, the EMSO board has decided to cancel the remainder of the New Beginnings 2019-2020 concert season, including the Beethoven Birthday Bash concert scheduled for May 17, 2020. Additionally, due to safety concerns and restrictions around access to senior living facilities, all EMSO-sponsored performances at senior living centers are cancelled through at least mid-May. Finally, EMSO has cancelled all orchestra rehearsals through the rest of the season. At this time, there are no immediate plans to reschedule any of these events.
We hope through these changes to help keep our EMSO musicians and audiences healthy and safe through this unprecedented time. We wish you all well and look forward to making more wonderful music together in the future!
