Amanda joined the cello section of EMSO in fall of 2024. She was looking for an ensemble that would challenge her but had a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere.
Although EMSO is far away from her hometown and current residence in New Brighton, she doesn’t mind making the trek. She lives with her family (parents and younger brother) and loves to spend time with them playing board games, having family dinner, and going on hikes.
She has recently started working at Memorial Blood Centers in St. Paul, a non-profit blood bank that serves Minnesota’s hospitals.
Outside of work and EMSO, Amanda also sings with MN’s LGBTQ choir, One Voice Mixed Chorus, plays dnd with her friends, does trivia and karaoke, spends lots of time with her family and boyfriend, and spends time outside doing activities like skiing, sledding, ice skating, swimming, and hiking.
