Beth Stewart – Violin

Beth learned to love good classical music from her dad, who often played pieces for her and her siblings from his cassette tape collection.  She fell in love with the violin when she saw another elementary school student play one and she started in the fourth grade. She played all through middle and high school and played cello and harp at Brigham Young University, where she earned a BS in mathematics. She joined EMSO in 2024 and is very grateful to have found it; playing in a full orchestra is her favorite way to enjoy music.

She currently stays home with her and her husband’s four children. She particularly enjoys trips to the zoo, baking birthday cakes and reading picture books with them.
