The East Metro Symphony Orchestra (EMSO) is pleased to present French Passions, a concert featuring the music of French composers, on Sunday, October 27th, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at The Grove United Methodist Church, 7465 Steepleview Road, Woodbury, MN. Admission to this concert is free. Donations in support of the orchestra’s work in the community are always appreciated.
French Passions is the first concert in EMSO’s 2019-2020 New Beginnings concert season, and will mark the first performance of Craig Hara as EMSO’s new music director and conductor. The concert will include performances of Dukas’ Fanfare (pour précéder “La Péri”), Bizet’s L’Arlésienne, Suite No. 1, Berlioz’s Ouverture du “Corsair,” and Franck’s Symphony in D Minor.
