Kyle Johnson joined EMSO at the beginning of the orchestra’s decade anniversary (2018 – 2019 season), which coincided with Kyle’s decade anniversary of playing the viola. He decided to become a part of the orchestra because the college he was attending did not have an orchestra and he wanted to keep playing. He genuinely believes it was the best choice he could have made.
Kyle graduated from St. Paul College in December 2020 with a AA in Supply Chain and Logistics, and has since turned into a gainfully employed blue collar worker with skills in the mining industry and welding. He currently lives in his hometown of Afton, MN.
Aside from playing the viola, Kyle has great interest in the railroad industry, is a motorsports/car enthusiast, and enjoys scuba diving when the chance arises.
