Richard Klauer joined EMSO in 2010.
Richard is retired from working at Twin Cities based Allina Health Systems as a Senior Project Manager. He is originally from Illinois, and graduated in music from Northern Illinois and West Virginia universities. He was married 33 years and enjoys time with his adult children, restaurant adventures, BBQs, and music performances of any style.
Richard says “EMSO is a marvelous community orchestra that features artistic collaborations with a number of Twin City organizations. Although my performance experience over the years has been in percussion, playing in a variety of wind ensembles, orchestras, jazz bands, pit bands, (even RnR bands but don’t tell!), playing cello with this organization is the most satisfying and rewarding of my musical experiences.”
