Kevin has been a member of EMSO since being recruited by his now wife (violinist Jeanette) in 2018. He grew up in Minnetonka and currently lives in Woodbury with his wife.
Kevin is a trained mechanical engineer and practicing data scientist at TSI, Inc. in Shoreview. When not playing trumpet, Kevin enjoys reading sci-fi/fantasy novels and playing video games.
Kevin believes that creating and experiencing music are a vital part of the shared human experience. Music is distilled emotion that can conjure images of exotic locations, evoke previously forgotten childhood memories, or recall the excitement of a favorite film. Nothing quite compares to the feeling of being fully engrossed in a musical experience; being enveloped by the waves of melody and rhythm. Kevin hopes to share this experience with EMSO audiences and his fellow musicians.
